Just yesterday I was bemoaning to my Aussie swim buddy that there was no nearby pub (or bar, this being America) where we could go for a beer and a game of darts. That would have knocked off the first three Arts (Rites, Music, Archery) if there was music playing instead of the ubiquitous TV. I have been substituting fin tossing for archery, aiming for the poolside chair. I have become quite good at the hand-eye-aim-toss business with swim fins (and their variable aerodynamics) to the point where a game of darts would challenge my skills in a new dimension. Maybe I should just clear wall space, set up a board, and pop a beer from the fridge since I don't think the neighborhood pubs are coming back.
